Diffusion — Add 5–10 drops to an ultrasonic or cold-air diffuser. Diffuse for 30 minutes before bedtime in a well-ventilated room. Do not diffuse continuously or in the presence of infants under 6 months.

Inhalation — Place 2–3 drops on a tissue or the palms of your hands, cup over the nose and mouth, and inhale slowly and deeply for 1–2 minutes. Ideal for immediate calming and sleep preparation.

Skin application — Always dilute in a carrier oil (e.g. sweet almond, jojoba, or coconut oil) at a maximum concentration of 2% (approximately 12 drops per 30 ml of carrier). Apply to pulse points — wrists, temples, or the back of the neck — before sleep.

Massage — Dilute at 1–2% in a carrier oil and massage gently into the back, shoulders, or feet in slow, circular movements. Promotes deep relaxation and eases muscular tension before bedtime.

Bath — Disperse 5–8 drops in a bath dispersant (e.g. a tablespoon of whole milk, honey, or a neutral bath base) before adding to warm water. Do not add essential oils directly to bathwater without a dispersant. Soak for 15–20 minutes in a warm (not hot) bath.

Cosmetic ingredient — Incorporate into homemade cosmetic preparations (creams, serums, balms) at a maximum concentration of 1% for leave-on products and 2% for rinse-off products. Ensure full homogenisation before use.
