Collection: Mushroom Extracts

Mushroom extracts bring the diversity of fungi into your everyday wellness routine. Unlike a mushroom powder, an extract uses a liquid to obtain selected naturally occurring constituents from the mushroom material. The species and extraction method shape its composition, including polysaccharides such as beta-glucans. This collection explores organic mushroom preparations within a mycotherapy approach.

Discover distinctive mushroom species and complementary combinations. Reishi, Lion’s Mane, Chaga, Maitake, Tremella, Porcini, Oyster Mushroom, Agaricus bisporus and Agaricus blazei feature across the range. The Mycotriplex formulas combine three mushroom extracts in each blend, developed with naturopath Alain Tardif. Their liquid base contains water and vegetable glycerine, with malic acid as an acidifier; the finished formulas contain no residual alcohol.

Mushroom origin and extraction are part of each formula’s identity. The Mycotriplex range is manufactured in the Hautes-Alpes, France, using organic mushroom ingredients sourced, across the different blends, from France, Poland, Estonia, China, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Preparation uses aqueous extraction or double extraction combining hot-water decoction and alcohol extraction, depending on the species. When alcohol is used, it is subsequently removed. Each product’s details identify its mushroom origins and extraction methods.

Choose a mushroom extract by its composition and recommended use. Explore each formula’s species, ingredient list and serving instructions to find an option for your routine. The Mycotriplex blends are liquid food supplements for adults, not culinary or cosmetic extracts. Follow the individual product’s directions and precautions, including its storage instructions, rather than assuming that every mushroom preparation is interchangeable.

A holistic naturopathic approach. The Mycotriplex extracts are formulated within a holistic naturopathic approach, in collaboration with Alain Tardif, naturopath, author and founder and director of the Académie Européenne des Médecines Naturelles (AEMN), a naturopathy training school in France. He is also the originator of the Athanor brand. The extracts are manufactured in a laboratory in the Hautes-Alpes, France.

The information presented is intended for general information as part of a well-being approach. It draws on traditional sources and specialist mycotherapy literature and does not replace medical advice.

Organic mushroom extracts are for adults interested in mushroom-based food supplements as part of an everyday wellness routine. Whether you are discovering mycotherapy or already familiar with species such as Reishi, Lion’s Mane and Maitake, this collection offers a way to compare mushroom ingredients and complementary blends by their composition and intended use.

For those choosing a formula around a particular area of well-being, the blends offer different starting points. The Mycotriplex selection includes formulas focused on joint comfort and mobility, digestion and liver support, feminine balance, immune support, weight and cholesterol support, and memory and concentration. Each combines three mushroom extracts; choose by the complete formula and its directions rather than assuming that all mushroom species serve the same purpose.

For adults who prefer a liquid format without alcohol, Mycotriplex offers an alternative to capsules or powders. These organic formulas contain no residual alcohol and combine mushroom extracts in a water and vegetable glycerine base. They are manufactured in the Hautes-Alpes, France, with mushroom origins varying by blend. They are food supplements for ingestion, not essential oils or ingredients for aromatherapy blends and cosmetic formulations.

The right choice also depends on your individual circumstances. An alcohol-free formula is not automatically suitable for children, pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you take medication, have a medical condition, are pregnant or are breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional for advice before use. Follow each product’s recommended serving and precautions. Food supplements complement, rather than replace, a varied diet and healthy lifestyle or prescribed medical treatment.

Discover organic mushroom extracts with distinctive identities, origins and traditions. The Mycotriplex blends combine complementary species, processed into liquid extracts in the Hautes-Alpes, France. The organic mushrooms are sourced from Poland, Estonia, China, France, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Aqueous extraction obtains water-soluble constituents; double extraction adds an alcohol extraction step, followed by alcohol removal. The finished Mycotriplex formulas contain no residual alcohol.

Agaricus — Agaricus bisporus — organically grown in Poland and also known as the button mushroom or Champignon de Paris. Its European cultivation history includes the underground quarries of Paris. Aqueous extraction obtains soluble mushroom constituents, including polysaccharides such as beta-glucans. Agaricus features in the Joints, Feminine Balance and Immune Support blends, where it is combined with other species rather than used alone.

Chaga — Inonotus obliquus — sourced organically from Estonia. Chaga grows on birch and has a history of preparation as a hot-water decoction in Siberian and northern European traditions. Its distinctive composition includes polyphenols and birch-associated compounds, making it a subject of antioxidant research. For the Mycotriplex Joints blend, Chaga undergoes double extraction combining water decoction and alcohol extraction, followed by alcohol removal, before being combined with Agaricus and Reishi.

Reishi — Ganoderma lucidum — organically grown in China. Naturally bitter, Reishi has a long history in the well-being traditions of China, Japan and Korea, where it is associated with vitality and longevity. Its polysaccharides and characteristic triterpenes are among the constituents explored in research on immune function and antioxidant activity. Double extraction combines water decoction and alcohol extraction, followed by alcohol removal. Reishi features in the Joints, Digestion & Liver Support and Feminine Balance blends.

Porcini — Boletus edulis — sourced organically from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Balkans. Also known as Penny Bun, King Bolete or Cèpe de Bordeaux, this European woodland mushroom grows in association with tree roots and has a long culinary history. Its fruiting bodies contain naturally occurring polysaccharides and other mushroom constituents. Aqueous extraction obtains water-soluble constituents for the Digestion & Liver Support, Weight & Cholesterol Support and Nerve & Memory Support blends.

Tremella — Tremella fuciformis — organically grown in China and also known as Snow Fungus, Silver Ear Mushroom or White Jelly Mushroom. Its translucent, gelatinous texture and naturally occurring polysaccharides distinguish this mushroom, which has a history of food use and a place in Asian beauty traditions. In the Mycotriplex formulas, Tremella undergoes double extraction combining hot-water decoction and alcohol extraction, followed by alcohol removal. It complements Reishi and Porcini in Digestion & Liver Support, and Lion’s Mane and Porcini in Nerve & Memory Support.

Maitake — Grifola frondosa — organically grown in China. Also known as Hen of the Woods, its Japanese name means Dancing Mushroom. Maitake has a long history of culinary and traditional use in Japan and China. Its naturally occurring polysaccharides include beta-glucans such as grifolan; Maitake extracts have been studied for immune modulation, while their metabolic effects remain a research topic. Aqueous extraction obtains soluble constituents for the Feminine Balance, Immune Support and Weight & Cholesterol Support blends.

Blazei — Agaricus blazei — organically grown in China and also known as the almond mushroom or sun mushroom. A close relative of the button mushroom, Blazei is distinguished by its naturally occurring polysaccharides, including beta-glucans. These constituents are of interest in research on immune function. Its fruiting bodies undergo aqueous extraction before being combined with Maitake and Agaricus in the Immune Support blend.

Oyster Mushroom — Pleurotus ostreatus — organically grown in France. Also known as the Pearl Oyster Mushroom or Hiratake, this widely cultivated edible mushroom grows naturally on wood. Its composition and culinary use have prompted research into glucose and lipid metabolism, although human evidence remains limited and does not establish a weight-loss effect. Aqueous extraction obtains soluble constituents from its fruiting bodies. In Mycotriplex, Oyster Mushroom is combined with Maitake and Porcini in the Weight & Cholesterol Support blend.

Lion’s Mane — Hericium erinaceus — organically grown in China and also known as the Bearded Tooth Mushroom. Its white, hanging spines give it its distinctive appearance, and it has a long history of food use in Asia. The fruiting bodies contain polysaccharides, including beta-glucans, and characteristic compounds called hericenones. Lion’s Mane is studied for its relationship with cognitive and nervous system function. Double extraction combines hot-water decoction and alcohol extraction, followed by alcohol removal, for the Nerve & Memory Support blend with Tremella and Porcini.

Mushroom polysaccharides, including beta-glucans — naturally occurring constituents obtained through extraction, with composition varying by species and preparation. The Mycotriplex extracts are filtered and stabilised in water and organic vegetable glycerine, with organic malic acid as an acidifier. Each recommended 5 mL daily serving provides the equivalent of 333 mg of dried mushrooms across the complete three-mushroom blend. This is not 333 mg of each species or a measured beta-glucan amount. Findings about an individual mushroom or a particular research extract do not establish the same effects for every finished blend.

Mushrooms have a longstanding place in well-being traditions, with different species selected for different purposes. Mycotherapy brings this diversity into a considered approach to everyday health: natural defences, mental clarity, digestive comfort, movement and metabolic balance. The organic extracts in this collection offer complementary combinations rather than a single formula for every need.

Natural defences & everyday vitality — Blazei, Maitake and Agaricus are valued in mycotherapy approaches centred on immune balance, particularly during seasonal changes and periods of increased demand. Their naturally occurring polysaccharides, including beta-glucans, are an important part of their composition. Together, these three mushrooms form the Mycotriplex Immune Support blend. Reishi and Chaga also have a place in traditions linking natural defences with overall vitality.

Memory, concentration & nervous system balance — Lion’s Mane is a distinctive choice in mycotherapy for routines focused on memory and sustained attention. Its fruiting bodies contain beta-glucans and characteristic compounds called hericenones. The Mycotriplex Nerve & Memory Support formula brings it together with Tremella and Porcini for periods of study, demanding intellectual work or sustained mental effort.

Digestive comfort & liver support — Reishi has a traditional role in approaches to liver function and the body’s natural elimination processes. Tremella is valued in digestive well-being traditions for its association with mucous-membrane comfort, including the stomach lining. The Mycotriplex Digestion & Liver Support blend combines both with Porcini.

Joint comfort & ease of movement — Agaricus, Chaga and Reishi come together in the Mycotriplex Joints formula, developed for everyday joint comfort and mobility. Their complementary roles in mycotherapy bring together natural defences, inflammatory balance and naturally occurring antioxidant constituents. The blend is formulated for everyday joint comfort and ease of movement, alongside appropriate activity and healthy habits.

Feminine balance & changing needs — women’s well-being can involve changing priorities around vitality, physiological balance and everyday comfort. The Mycotriplex Feminine Balance formula combines Agaricus, Reishi and Maitake within a naturopathic approach to these needs. It brings together species traditionally associated with natural defences, adaptation and metabolic balance.

Metabolic balance & nutritional well-being — Oyster Mushroom and Maitake have a place in mycotherapy approaches to fat and sugar metabolism. Combined with Porcini in Mycotriplex Weight & Cholesterol Support, they form a blend that complements balanced eating, regular activity and consistent daily habits.

Antioxidant constituents & complementary mushrooms — Chaga and Reishi are notable for their naturally occurring antioxidant constituents, while Porcini and Tremella contribute their own distinctive mushroom constituents. These differences help explain why species are combined in mycotherapy rather than treated as interchangeable.

A practical alcohol-free routine — the Mycotriplex blends combine three organic mushroom extracts in one liquid serving, with no residual alcohol. Made in the Hautes-Alpes, France, they are measured using the cup integrated into the cap and diluted in a little water. One 150 mL bottle provides 30 daily servings at the recommended 5 mL dose.

Liquid mushroom extracts fit into a simple, measured daily routine. The Mycotriplex blends are food supplements for adults, taken orally after dilution in a little water. Follow the directions for your chosen formula, including its recommended serving, timing and storage after opening.

Shake before use — Shake the bottle before each serving, then use the measuring cup integrated into the cap to measure the recommended amount.

Measure your daily serving — For the Mycotriplex blends, take 5 mL once daily. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Measure with the supplied cup rather than estimating the amount with a household spoon.

Dilute & take between meals — Dilute the measured 5 mL serving in a little water and drink between meals. These formulas are intended for ingestion, not for skin application, massage or diffusion.

A 30-day supply — One 150 mL bottle provides 30 daily servings at the recommended dose. This indicates how long the bottle lasts, not a guaranteed time to experience a particular result.

Three mushrooms in one serving — Each Mycotriplex formula already combines three mushroom extracts. Its 5 mL serving provides the equivalent of 333 mg of dried mushrooms across the complete blend, not 333 mg of each species. If you wish to use several supplements together, ask a healthcare professional for advice rather than combining their serving instructions.

An alcohol-free formula — The finished Mycotriplex blends contain no residual alcohol. They remain adult food supplements: an alcohol-free formula does not automatically make a product suitable for children, pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Check suitability before starting — If you take medication, have a medical condition, are pregnant or are breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional for advice before use. Read the precautions for your chosen formula. Food supplements do not replace a varied diet, a healthy lifestyle or prescribed medical treatment.

Storage & shelf life — Refrigerate after opening and keep out of reach of young children. Follow the storage instructions and date shown on the packaging. Keep the bottle and label so the directions remain available throughout use.

Follow the formula’s own directions — Serving sizes and preparation methods can vary between mushroom supplements. The 5 mL daily instructions above apply to the Mycotriplex blends; always check the label when choosing another extract or changing your routine.

Our organic mushroom extracts combine organic certification with clear commitments to natural ingredients, traceability and French manufacture. These standards guide the selection of mushrooms and the preparation of the finished liquid formulas.

European organic certification — our mushroom extracts are certified organic under the European Union organic farming framework and controlled by Ecocert, with the control body code FR-BIO-01. Organic certification covers the production and processing of the certified ingredients, from the mushroom material to the finished extract.

Food-grade quality & natural origin — made with organic mushrooms and ingredients of natural origin, the Mycotriplex blends combine mushroom extracts in a water and organic vegetable glycerine base, with organic malic acid as an acidifier. The finished formulas contain no residual alcohol and are suitable for vegan diets. As food supplements for adults, they complement a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Follow each formula’s recommended serving and precautions.

Mycotherapy expertise & a considered approach to science — the Mycotriplex blends were developed in collaboration with Alain Tardif, naturopath, author of Traité de mycothérapie, and founder and director of the Académie Européenne des Médecines Naturelles (AEMN), a naturopathy training school in France. This collaboration brings specialist mycotherapy knowledge to the formulation of complementary mushroom blends. Our commitment is to present traditional knowledge and scientific literature with care, distinguishing established findings from areas still under investigation.

Crafted in the French Alps — our mushroom extracts are designed and manufactured in a family-run laboratory in the Hautes-Alpes, France. The mushrooms are sourced from different countries according to the species, while extraction and preparation of the liquid formulas take place in France. Product details distinguish the mushrooms’ origins from the place of manufacture, with traceability and batch consistency central to the process.

For detailed certification information, ingredients and precautions, visit each individual product page. You can also find answers to general questions on our FAQ page.

Our philosophy is the same across everything we select: know the source, understand the craft, and give you clear information. We value natural ingredients, regional expertise and lasting relationships with independent producers. What matters is the care behind a product, not the volume of its promises.

Origins matter — we look beyond the finished bottle to the ingredients, their source and the people who prepare them. We distinguish where an ingredient comes from from where a product is made. Traceability is part of our selection, not an optional detail.

Commitment goes beyond a label — certifications matter, alongside the knowledge, methods and consistency of the people behind a product. We build ongoing relationships with producers we have vetted directly, asking questions about ingredients, preparation and quality. We identify the certifications that apply to each product rather than assuming one standard covers the entire range.

Clear information, considered choices — we explain composition, origins, intended use and precautions so you can decide what belongs in your routine. We distinguish certified ingredients from certified finished products and traditional knowledge from established findings. If a detail is uncertain, we say so rather than dress it up as a promise.

Honest prices & independent judgement — we do not inflate prices to make discounts look impressive or pay for opinions presented as independent recommendations. Our selection rests on the products and the people behind them, with straightforward pricing and information that helps you choose without pressure.

What is a mushroom extract, and how does it differ from mushroom powder? A powder is mushroom material ground into smaller particles. An extract uses a liquid to obtain selected naturally occurring constituents from that material. The species, mushroom material and extraction method all influence its composition. An extract and a powder are different preparations, so their serving sizes cannot be compared by weight alone.

What is Mycotriplex? Mycotriplex is a range of organic liquid food supplements, each combining three complementary mushroom extracts. The blends were developed in collaboration with Alain Tardif, naturopath, author of Traité de mycothérapie and founder and director of the Académie Européenne des Médecines Naturelles (AEMN).

How do I choose a mushroom blend? Start with the area of well-being you want to focus on, then compare the complete formulas. Mycotriplex includes blends for joint comfort, digestion and liver support, feminine balance, natural defences, weight and cholesterol support, and memory and concentration. Read the ingredients, directions and precautions for your chosen blend, especially if you already take supplements or medication.

Which mushrooms are used? Across the Mycotriplex blends, the selection includes Agaricus bisporus, Blazei, Chaga, Reishi, Maitake, Porcini, Tremella, Oyster Mushroom and Lion’s Mane. Each formula combines three of these mushrooms. The individual product pages identify the mushrooms in each formula.

Where are the mushrooms sourced, and where are the extracts made? The Mycotriplex extracts are manufactured in the Hautes-Alpes, France. Agaricus bisporus comes from Poland, Chaga from Estonia, Oyster Mushroom from France, and Porcini from Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Balkans. Reishi, Maitake, Blazei, Tremella and Lion’s Mane come from China.

Are the mushroom extracts certified organic? The Mycotriplex formulas are certified organic under FR-BIO-01 and carry the European organic and French AB organic farming labels. Their organic ingredients include the mushrooms, vegetable glycerine and malic acid. Check the individual product page and packaging for the certification details of your chosen extract.

Does double extraction mean the finished formula contains alcohol? No. In the Mycotriplex range, Reishi, Chaga, Tremella and Lion’s Mane undergo double extraction combining hot-water decoction and alcohol extraction. The alcohol is subsequently removed, leaving no residual alcohol in the finished formulas. Agaricus bisporus, Blazei, Maitake, Porcini and Oyster Mushroom undergo aqueous extraction using water.

What else is in the liquid formula, and is it vegan? The Mycotriplex extracts are combined in water and organic vegetable glycerine, with organic malic acid as an acidifier. The formulas are suitable for vegan diets. The complete ingredient list is available on each product page.

How do I take Mycotriplex, and how long does a bottle last? Shake before each use. Measure 5 mL with the cup integrated into the cap, dilute in a little water and take once daily between meals. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. One 150 mL bottle provides 30 daily servings. For other mushroom extracts, follow the directions on the label.

What does the 333 mg dried-mushroom equivalent mean? Each recommended 5 mL Mycotriplex serving provides the equivalent of 333 mg of dried mushrooms across the complete three-mushroom blend. It does not mean 333 mg of each mushroom, and it is not a stated amount of beta-glucans.

Can I take several blends together? Each Mycotriplex formula already combines three mushroom extracts, and some species appear in more than one blend. Ask a healthcare professional before combining formulas or adding them to other supplements, particularly if you take medication or have a medical condition.

Are they suitable for children, pregnancy or breastfeeding? The Mycotriplex formulas are intended for adults. Alcohol-free does not necessarily mean suitable for children, pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication or have a medical condition, ask a healthcare professional for advice before use.

How soon should I expect results? Individual experiences vary, and there is no guaranteed timeframe. One bottle provides 30 daily servings. These food supplements complement a varied diet and healthy lifestyle; they do not replace medical advice or prescribed treatment.

How should I store the bottle after opening? Refrigerate after opening and keep out of reach of young children. Follow the storage instructions and date shown on the packaging.
