Collection: Vegetable Oils

Cold-pressed vegetable oils are extracted by gentle mechanical pressure — no heat, no solvents, no refining. This careful process preserves the complete botanical profile of each seed, kernel, nut, or fruit: its fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and plant actives remain intact and bioavailable. The result is a carrier oil in its most authentic, effective form — exactly as nature intended.

Our certified organic vegetable oils span a wide and growing range — from skin-care classics like Argan, Avocado, Sweet Almond, Apricot Kernel, and Coconut, to specialised botanical oils such as Calophyllum, Borage, Evening Primrose, Black Cumin Seed, Camelina, Karanja, and Tiger Nut. Rich, concentrated butters such as Shea complement the range for deep, intensive nourishment. Every oil is sourced for purity, free from pesticides, synthetic additives, and chemical processing.

Vegetable oils absorb readily into skin and hair, delivering fatty acids, Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9, vitamin E, and antioxidants directly where they are needed. Lighter oils such as Camelina, Macadamia, and Apricot Kernel suit daily face care and sensitive or mature skin; denser oils like Castor and Calophyllum are valued for intensive hair care, scalp care, and skin regeneration. Used solo or blended with essential oils, each oil brings a distinct nutritional profile to your routine.

Versatile across every natural beauty routine — face oil, body oil, hair oil, massage oil, nail care, baby care, and maternity care — certified organic vegetable oils are gentle enough for daily use on dry, sensitive, and mature skin, and effective enough to replace many conventional skin-care products. They also serve as natural carrier oils for diluting and blending essential oils, making them a foundational ingredient in aromatherapy.

Vegetable oils are for anyone who prefers a simple, plant-based approach to everyday skin and hair care: choose an oil by its texture and how you want to use it, whether as a facial oil, a body oil, or a conditioning step for dry hair. This collection brings together certified organic, cold-pressed options for different routines.

For a soft, comfortable feel on dry skin, start with familiar favourites such as sweet almond, avocado, argan, or coconut oil. Apricot kernel and macadamia offer lighter-feeling alternatives for facial care or a smooth finish; individual skin preferences vary, so introduce any new oil gradually.

If you make your own aromatherapy blends, vegetable oils can serve as carrier oils: use a suitable base such as sweet almond, apricot kernel, or sesame oil to dilute essential oils for a massage blend. Follow the essential oil's dilution and safety guidance, and check the ingredient if you have a known nut or seed allergy.

Looking for a more particular texture or routine? Explore castor oil for a richer hair or nail-care blend; hemp, camelina, evening primrose, and borage for varied fatty-acid profiles; or black cumin, calophyllum, karanja, and tiger nut oil for other plant-oil choices. For cooking, choose only an individual oil explicitly labelled food-grade and follow its stated use. Whatever your starting point, select the oil that suits your skin, hair, and preferred way of applying it.

This selection is built entirely around certified organic vegetable oils — cold-pressed, unrefined, and of pure plant origin. Each carrier oil is chosen for its own distinct skin and hair profile, from feather-light daily oils to richly nourishing ones for dry, mature, or reactive skin. As this range keeps growing, here are the star botanical actives behind it.

Argan Oil — Argania spinosa — a certified organic, cold-pressed carrier oil and one of the most recognised names in natural cosmetics. Prized for anti-aging, hair care, and everyday skin nourishment, it is naturally rich in oleic acid, linoleic acid, and vitamin E. Well suited to dry, reactive, and eczema-prone skin, and also used in nail care. Suitable for face, body, and scalp.

Borage Oil — Borago officinalis — a certified organic, cold-pressed oil offering the richest concentration of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) in this collection. Used in natural skincare for dry, sensitive, eczema-prone, and mature skin, and often paired with evening primrose oil in natural skin-repair routines. Also used in nail care.

Hemp Oil — Cannabis sativa — a certified organic, cold-pressed virgin oil with one of the most balanced omega-3/omega-6 ratios among vegetable oils. Lightweight and easily absorbed, it suits dry, reactive, and eczema-prone skin. Food-grade and versatile across face, body, and hair care.

Camelina Oil — Camelina sativa — a certified organic oil available in both standard and virgin variants in this collection. Among the richest vegetable oils in omega-3 fatty acids, with a naturally high vitamin E content. Used in natural skin and hair care, suitable for face, body, and scalp. Food-grade.

Castor Oil — Ricinus communis — a certified organic, cold-pressed oil known for its distinctively thick texture. A staple of natural beauty routines for brow, lash, and nail care, and also used for body and hair care, supporting the appearance of fuller, stronger-looking brows and lashes.

Tiger Nut Oil — Cyperus esculentus — a certified organic, cold-pressed oil with a distinctive place in natural cosmetics, traditionally used after waxing or hair removal to help slow the visible regrowth of body hair. Also valued as a massage and skin care oil, it is one of the more unique actives in this range.

Avocado Oil — Persea gratissima — a certified organic, cold-pressed virgin oil, rich and fatty, well suited to dry, mature, and sensitive skin. High in oleic acid and plant sterols, it is used across face, body, hair, and massage, and is especially appreciated in natural anti-aging routines for its deep-penetrating feel.

Macadamia Oil — Macadamia integrifolia — a certified organic, cold-pressed oil exceptionally rich in palmitoleic acid (omega-7), a fatty acid that naturally declines with age and is closely associated with mature skin care. Lightweight and dry to the touch, it is used across face, body, hair, and massage as a premium carrier oil in natural anti-aging formulations.

Sesame Oil — Sesamum indicum — a certified organic, cold-pressed oil with deep roots in Ayurvedic and natural cosmetic traditions. Naturally rich in sesamol and vitamin E, antioxidant compounds associated with skin protection and softening. Food-grade, and used for body, hair, and massage, with a natural UV-filtering effect and a warming sensory feel.

Apricot Kernel Oil — Prunus armeniaca — a certified organic, cold-pressed oil that is lightweight and silky, well suited to sensitive, dry, and mature skin. A favourite facial oil for makeup removal and daily face care, it is also used for massage and hair care thanks to its smooth feel and easy absorption.

Coconut Oil — Cocos nucifera — a certified organic, cold-pressed oil valued across face, body, and hair care for its softening and protective properties. Used as a hair mask, carrier oil, and body moisturiser, it is solid at room temperature and melts on contact with skin — one of the most widely recognised plant oils in natural beauty worldwide.

Cold-pressed from seeds, kernels, nuts, and fruits, certified organic vegetable oils and butters are among the most complete botanical ingredients available for skin, hair, and body care. Each oil carries a unique profile of fatty acids, vitamins, and plant-derived actives — preserved in full through cold-pressing, without solvents, refining, or synthetic additives. Pure, traceable, and crafted for meaningful results.

Deep, lasting skin moisturisation — vegetable oils and butters are naturally rich in fatty acids that closely mirror the skin's own lipid structure, allowing them to nourish at depth rather than sitting on the surface. Oils such as Sweet Almond, Avocado, Apricot Kernel, Macadamia, and Shea Butter form a protective, occlusive layer that helps slow moisture loss, reinforces the skin barrier, and leaves skin visibly softer, smoother, and more comfortable — ideal for dry, sensitive, and mature skin types.

Facial skincare & anti-ageing support — lightweight, fast-absorbing face oils are a cornerstone of natural facial care. Argan, Evening Primrose, Borage, Apricot Kernel, Avocado, Hemp, and Camelina oils are each prized for their high content of essential fatty acids — including GLA (gamma-linolenic acid), Omega-3, and Omega-6 — that support skin suppleness, help maintain a healthy-looking complexion, and are widely used in anti-ageing and regenerating skincare routines.

Hair & scalp care — a growing number of plant oils have earned a firm place in hair care for their ability to nourish the scalp, strengthen strands, and improve hair appearance. Castor Oil is a classic for hair growth and eyebrow routines; Argan and Macadamia add shine and manageability; Black Cumin Seed, Camelina, and Hemp deliver Omega-rich nourishment to dry or stressed scalps. Tiger Nut Oil stands out as a specialised after-wax oil known for its hair regrowth-inhibiting properties.

Massage & body care — vegetable oils are the natural medium for massage and body care. Sweet Almond, Apricot Kernel, Macadamia, Sesame, Avocado, and Coconut oils are classic massage carrier oils: skin-compatible, non-sticky, and smooth-gliding. They absorb comfortably, make excellent bases for essential oil blends, and form the backbone of everyday body care rituals — from head-to-toe moisturising to targeted massage routines.

Gentle care for sensitive, baby & maternity skin — pure, additive-free cold-pressed oils are trusted staples where skin is at its most delicate. Sweet Almond Oil and Shea Butter are widely chosen for baby massage, maternity belly care, and sensitive-skin routines — gentle enough for newborns, suitable for daily use throughout pregnancy and beyond. Their simple, certified organic composition makes them a reassuring choice for the whole family.

Targeted botanical profiles — beyond their shared moisturising foundation, each oil brings its own distinctive botanical signature. Calophyllum (Tamanu) is valued in traditional and modern cosmetic routines for its skin-regenerating properties and support for circulation and scar care. Karanja, rooted in Ayurvedic tradition, is noted for its natural UV-filtering characteristics. Sesame and Macadamia offer natural UV-protection properties. Black Cumin Seed brings deep antioxidant richness to both skin and hair care. Borage and Evening Primrose, both exceptionally high in GLA, are sought after for hormonal skin support and mature skin routines.

Cold-pressed from seeds, nuts, and kernels, certified organic plant oils and butters are nature's most versatile skincare base — pure, additive-free, and immediately ready to use. Each carries a unique fatty-acid profile, absorption rate, and skin affinity, so you can choose the right oil for your face, body, hair, or aromatherapy blends with confidence.

Direct application — Warm a few drops between your fingertips and press into cleansed skin. Lighter oils — Apricot Kernel, Camelina, and Hemp — absorb swiftly and work as everyday face and body oils for normal to combination skin. Richer choices — Avocado, Castor, and Shea-style butters such as Macadamia and Argan — deliver deep nourishment to dry, mature, or eczema-prone skin. Black Cumin Seed Oil adds antioxidant care for sensitive and reactive complexions.

Face care & oil cleansing — Sweet Almond, Apricot Kernel, Avocado, Argan, and Hemp are well suited as daily facial oils, or as a gentle oil-cleanse that dissolves makeup and impurities without stripping the skin's barrier: massage into dry skin with fingertips, then lift away with a warm, damp cloth. Evening Primrose and Borage oils — both rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) — are popular choices for mature and hormonally sensitive skin.

Hair, brows & scalp — Apply oil through lengths and ends as a pre-wash treatment, or work a small amount through damp hair for shine and frizz control. Coconut Oil is a classic deep-conditioning hair mask. Castor Oil is traditionally applied to brows, lashes, and nails to support their appearance. A scalp massage with Sesame or Sweet Almond Oil supports healthy scalp care. Tiger Nut Oil is used cosmetically to help slow the re-growth rate of body hair after removal.

Massage & body care — Macadamia, Sweet Almond, Sesame, and Calophyllum (Tamanu) oils offer excellent slip for massage. Calophyllum is also used to support the appearance of scars, stretch marks, and areas of poor circulation. Sesame and Karanja oils carry natural compounds associated with mild UV-protective properties in traditional cosmetic use — always combine with adequate sun protection.

Carrier oils for aromatherapy — In aromatherapy, plant oils are the essential partner of essential oils: they dilute and carry them safely onto the skin, enabling topical application without irritation. Blend a few drops of essential oil into your chosen plant oil before use, starting at around 1% — approximately 20 drops per 100 ml of carrier. Sweet Almond, Apricot Kernel, Sesame, and Macadamia are classic aromatherapy carriers prized for their neutral scent and skin compatibility.

Food-grade quality — Several oils in this collection — Sweet Almond, Sesame, Virgin Hemp, and Virgin Camelina — hold food-grade certification, a strong marker of purity that goes beyond cosmetic standards. Please consult each product page for specific culinary guidance.

DIY natural cosmetics — Plant oils and butters are the backbone of homemade natural skincare. Use them as the oil phase in body butters and balms, as a nourishing base for lip care and salves, or blend them into your existing creams and face masks to boost richness. Oils rich in omega-3 fatty acids — Camelina, Hemp, Borage — bring additional skin-barrier support to formulations.

Storage & shelf life — Store your oils tightly closed, away from light and heat. Oils rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids — Camelina, Hemp, Borage, Evening Primrose — are more delicate and keep longest in a cool spot such as the refrigerator door. Stable oils like Sweet Almond, Argan, and Macadamia tolerate room temperature well.

Every oil in this collection is 100% pure and natural, cold-pressed for quality with no additives or synthetic processing, and the great majority are certified organic — making them a reliable choice for clean, conscious skincare. As with any new product, a patch test on a small area of skin is a sensible first step.

Our certifications for vegetable oils operate at three distinct levels — each with its own scope, criteria, and independent verification process.

Regional & governmental certifications — our cold-pressed vegetable oils are certified under the European Union Organic Farming regulation, the most rigorous regional standard for organic agricultural production across Europe. This certification guarantees that the plants are grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, and that the entire production chain — from cultivation to pressing — meets strict traceability and environmental requirements. For oils of outstanding geographical origin, you will also find AOP (Appellation d'Origine Protégée) and AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) designations — European and French guarantees of provenance, tradition, and terroir that protect the integrity of exceptional regional varieties.

Institutional certifications — beyond governmental standards, a number of our vegetable oils and their producers are certified by independent institutions with their own rigorous criteria, including COSMOS Organic and Nature & Progrès. These certifications are granted and monitored by accredited third-party bodies such as Ecocert and Bureau Veritas, providing an independent layer of assurance over raw material quality, processing methods, and supply chain ethics.

Producer commitments & quality labels — our producers also adhere to quality and ethics standards that reflect genuine professional commitments to excellence and transparency. Cold pressing is systematically favoured over solvent extraction wherever the plant material allows, as it preserves the full spectrum of fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and botanical actives naturally present in each oil. Vegan and Cruelty-Free commitments complete the picture, because we believe that respect for the earth and for living beings is inseparable from what is good for your skin, hair, and body.

Fair sourcing & fair pricing — we prioritise working directly with small producers, independent mills, and artisan growers who are fairly compensated for their expertise and care. Where direct sourcing is not possible, we work exclusively with trusted partners who share our standards for quality, traceability, and ethical practice. By maintaining a transparent and short supply chain, we are able to offer premium certified organic vegetable oils at honest, accessible prices.

A good vegetable oil earns its place in your routine by fitting the way you use it. Our Vegetable Oils collection brings together plant oils for face, body, hair and massage, from light-feeling everyday options to richer oils for dry areas. We focus on clear product information so you can choose an oil for its texture, intended use and botanical source rather than a promise it cannot deliver.

Extraction and texture matter. Many oils in this collection are described as cold-pressed, including Apricot Kernel, Castor, Avocado and Borage. A lighter-feeling oil such as Apricot Kernel may suit a simple facial routine, while the denser texture of Castor Oil is often chosen for hair, nails or a richer body blend. Check each product page for its specific extraction method and recommended uses; no single vegetable oil feels the same on every skin or hair type.

A varied botanical selection makes it easier to find your fit. Familiar carrier oils such as Sweet Almond, Argan, Coconut, Sesame and Macadamia sit alongside Hemp, Camelina, Black Cumin Seed, Tiger Nut and Karanja. Borage and Evening Primrose are described for their gamma-linolenic acid content, while Hemp and Camelina offer different fatty acid profiles. Each oil has its own feel and place in a skincare or hair-care routine; the selection is not a one-size-fits-all treatment.

Vegetable oils can be simple, versatile ingredients. Use an oil on its own for skin or hair care, or choose a suitable carrier oil to dilute an essential oil for topical aromatherapy, following the individual product's directions. Some products are also described as food-grade, but cosmetic use does not mean an oil is suitable to eat: check the specific product information before any culinary use.

Choose with the product details in hand. Our range includes oils described as certified organic, with botanical names, extraction methods and uses varying by product. Explore the individual listings for the details that matter to you, whether you are looking for a facial oil, a body massage oil, a hair-care oil or an ingredient for a homemade cosmetic blend. Plant oils are for everyday care, not a substitute for medical treatment.

What are vegetable oils and plant oils? Vegetable oils — also called plant oils or carrier oils — are lipid-rich extracts obtained from the seeds, kernels, or flesh of plants through cold mechanical pressing. They differ fundamentally from essential oils: they are fatty, non-volatile substances that can be applied directly to skin and hair without mandatory dilution, making them highly versatile for skin care, hair care, and aromatherapy blending.

What does “cold-pressed” mean and why does it matter? Cold-pressing is a mechanical extraction method that uses pressure alone — no heat, no chemical solvents. By keeping temperatures low, the oil preserves its natural fatty acid profile, fat-soluble vitamins, antioxidants, phytosterols, and characteristic colour and aroma. The result is a nutrient-intact oil that performs closer to what nature originally deposited in the plant. All oils in this collection are cold-pressed to maximise their cosmetic and nutritional integrity.

What does certified organic mean for these oils? Certified organic means the source plants were grown under independently audited conditions that prohibit or strictly limit synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilisers. Certifications such as Ecocert (FR-BIO-01), COSMOS Organic, and AB (Agriculture Biologique) guarantee compliance with EU Organic Farming Regulation standards. Most oils in this collection carry at least one such certification — each product page lists the applicable certifications.

Are these oils 100% pure? Yes. Every oil in this collection is 100% pure: no additives, no synthetic preservatives, no dilution with cheaper base oils, and no chemical processing. What you receive is the unadulterated extract from the plant source — nothing added, nothing removed. Purity is verified at source and traceable to origin.

Can I apply vegetable oils directly to skin? Yes. Unlike essential oils, vegetable oils are skin-safe for direct application. They are widely used as facial oils, body moisturisers, hair masks, scalp treatments, massage oils, makeup removers, and natural lip balms. Suitable for all skin types — from normal to dry, sensitive, combination, and mature skin. Choose your oil according to texture preference and skin profile; product pages include guidance on skin compatibility.

Which oil is best for dry or sensitive skin? Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Avocado Oil, and Coconut Oil are among the most widely used for dry and sensitive skin — including for babies — thanks to their softening, emollient texture. Argan Oil and Evening Primrose Oil are particularly popular for mature or demanding skin. Calophyllum Oil (Tamanu) is traditionally valued in aromatherapy for blemish-prone or damaged skin. No single oil is universally best: the right choice depends on your skin profile and personal preference.

Which oils work well for hair care? Many oils in this collection are popular for hair and scalp use. Argan Oil is widely recognised as a smoothing, shine-enhancing hair oil. Castor Oil is traditionally used to strengthen and nourish hair along the length and at the roots. Hemp (Virgin), Camelina, and Black Cumin Seed Oil are valued for scalp health due to their high omega fatty acid content. Sweet Almond and Macadamia oils are lightweight choices for fine hair. Coconut Oil is a classic pre-shampoo conditioning treatment. Use alone, blend with other oils, or add a few drops of essential oil to suit your hair type.

Can I use these as carrier oils for essential oils? Absolutely — vegetable oils are the natural base for diluting essential oils before skin application. A standard cosmetic dilution is 1–2% essential oil in carrier oil (approximately 6–12 drops per 100 ml of carrier). Lighter, fast-absorbing oils such as Sweet Almond, Apricot Kernel, Sesame, and Macadamia are popular carrier choices. Richer oils such as Avocado, Castor, or Calophyllum are often blended with a lighter base to adjust texture and absorption rate.

What is the difference between virgin (unrefined) and refined oils? Virgin or unrefined oils retain their natural colour, aroma, and full fatty acid and micronutrient profile — they are closest to the raw plant source and most suitable for direct skin and hair use. Refined oils have been further processed to produce a more neutral colour and odour, which makes them easier to incorporate into cosmetic formulations where a neutral base is preferred. Both options are available within this collection — for example, Camelina Oil is offered in both virgin and refined variants. The right choice depends on your intended use and formulation.

Are any oils in this collection food-grade? Several oils carry food-grade certification and are suitable for culinary use — including Sweet Almond Oil, Sesame Oil, Camelina Oil, Hemp (Virgin), Tiger Nut Oil, and Coconut Oil. Food-grade status and any specific culinary usage notes are listed on each individual product page. Not all variants or bottle sizes carry the same certifications, so always check the product page before culinary use.

How should I store vegetable oils? Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat. Oils rich in omega-3 fatty acids — such as Camelina (Virgin), Hemp (Virgin), Borage, and Evening Primrose — are particularly sensitive to oxidation and benefit from refrigeration after opening. Always close the cap tightly after use to limit air exposure. Specific storage recommendations and shelf-life indications are provided on each product page.
