Organic Essential Oil - Rose Geranium
Organic Essential Oil - Rose Geranium
Pelargonium graveolens
Available in stock
Certified organic Rose Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) essential oil — steam-distilled from the aerial parts of organically cultivated géranium rosat sourced in Egypt, then distilled at the family atelier in Chamaloc, Drôme Provençale, France. Defined by its rosy-green biochemistry — citronellol, geraniol, and linalool — this is one of the most versatile and beloved essential oils in professional aromatherapy. Simultaneously balancing and regenerating, it delivers a deeply floral sensory experience alongside precise physiological action: skin-toning, cicatrizant, anti-infectious, and hormone-balancing. A true cornerstone oil for natural skincare, emotional equilibrium, and everyday wellness.
🌸 Skin Tonic & Sebum-Regulating — firms and revitalizes skin tissue, regulates sebum production on both oily and dry skin, and tightens pores; a premier active for mature, blemish-prone, and combination skin types.
🌿 Cicatrizant & Regenerating — promotes skin cell renewal and wound healing; supports recovery from small cuts, scars, and skin imperfections through its hemostatic and regenerative action.
🦠 Anti-infectious & Purifying — natural antiseptic that purifies the skin and prevents cutaneous infections; in diffusion, it also sanitizes ambient air.
⚖️ Hormonal & Emotional Balancing — traditionally used to ease menstrual discomfort, mood swings, and hormonal fluctuations; its hormone-like action makes it a valued ally for regular wellness use.
🧘 Stress Relief & Sleep — in diffusion or inhalation, soothes nervous tension, reduces stress, and promotes restful sleep; a gentle floral alternative to lavender for those who prefer rose-forward notes.
🐛 Natural Repellent — its citronellol-rich profile acts as a natural insect repellent; effective in topical blends and ambient diffusion.
✨ Scalp & Hair — balances scalp sebum, supports hair vitality, and complements blends targeting oily roots or dry ends.

The information regarding essential oils that you can find on our website, in our catalogue and in our brochures is for reference only. It is a summary of our interpretations of the various works on aromatherapy we have studied. It should not under any circumstances be considered as a medical piece of advice and we deny any liability in relation to this information.
Around 90% of reported side effects are linked to improper usage (source: poison control centers in France). Moreover, only about 3.5% of the population in France for example is allergic to fragrance, and only a small portion of those allergies are related to essential oils.
Take care when using essential oils and use them in moderation. Essential oils are very strong.
Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Not recommended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Seek medical advice before use, especially if you are taking medication or have a chronic illness (asthma, epilepsy, hormone-dependent conditions, etc.).
Always carry out a skin tolerance test of the mixture in the bend of the elbow at least 48 hours before using. If you notice a reaction (redness, itching, pimples ...), do not use the product.
Before applying on skin, dilute in a carrier oil.
Do not use for prolonged periods.
Do not use on or in mucous membranes (eyes, ears, nose, genitals, etc.).
Consult a medical doctor regarding any therapeutic indication or before taking any essential oil orally. If irritation occurs, stop using and consult a doctor.
Avoid sun exposure after using photosensitizing essential oils which are Angelica, Bergamot, Celery, Lemon, Lime, Khella, Lovage, Mandarin, Orange, Blood Orange, Grapefruit, Lemon Verbena and St. John’s wort infused oil. After applying these oils, avoid exposure to the sun or to the UV for 8 to 10 hours.
Store in its original closed packaging, away from light and high temperatures.
For further safety, never remove the dropper capsule from the essential oil bottle.
Do not combine essential oils and medicinal treatments without medical supervision.
Never inject essential oils.
In case of accidental ingestion, rinse the mouth out with food grade vegetable oil. If possible, we advise to swallow 1 to 2 spoonfuls of food grade vegetable oil in order to dilute essential oil. Immediately call a poison center and take promptly medical advice. Do not induce vomiting.
