Softer, smoother dry skin · Shea butter softens rough skin and leaves it feeling smoother to the touch. Its rich, emollient texture is particularly useful for dry hands, feet and elbows.

More manageable hair · Helps smooth the feel of dry hair and makes it easier to handle and style. A small amount provides conditioning care without needing to coat the hair heavily.

✨ Our aromatherapist says

Shea butter brings rich, softening care to dry skin and dry, curly hair. Obtained from the kernels of the West African shea tree, it naturally contains fatty acids that help soften the skin and limit moisture loss. Its comforting texture is particularly useful when hands, feet or lips feel dry and rough, or when skin feels tight from dryness.

For skin care, warm a small amount between clean hands before gently massaging it into dry areas. The butter softens with warmth and leaves a nourishing layer on the skin. For dry, curly hair, use it as a mask before shampooing, or apply a very small amount to the lengths and ends afterwards to add softness and make the hair easier to manage.

Keep care gentle and suited to your skin. Apply to intact skin and avoid any ingredient to which you have a known allergy. If you have a latex allergy, seek advice from a healthcare professional before use. Stop using the butter if irritation occurs, and seek medical advice for persistent redness, eczema or deep skin cracks.

💡 Usage Recommendations

Skin application · Warm a small amount between clean palms until softened, then gently massage onto clean, intact skin. Focus on dry areas such as hands, feet and elbows. For dry lips, apply a thin layer. Start sparingly and add more if needed; shea butter leaves a rich finish.

Massage · Soften the butter in your hands before spreading it over the area to be massaged. Use gentle movements and adjust the amount for comfortable glide. It can also be blended with a vegetable oil for a more fluid texture.

Cosmetic ingredient · Incorporate into body butters, balms or hair masks according to a suitable cosmetic recipe. If melting is required, use gentle heat. Keep hands, utensils and the preparation area clean, and avoid introducing water into the jar.

Hair care · For a pre-shampoo mask, soften a small amount and distribute through dry lengths and ends, then wash thoroughly. After shampooing, smooth a very small amount onto the ends as a leave-in treatment. Adjust to your hair's texture to avoid a heavy or greasy feel.
