💡 Usage Recommendations

Skin application — Apply pure or diluted (10–30% in a lighter carrier oil such as apricot kernel or sweet almond) to the affected area 1 to 3 times daily. Massage gently until absorbed. Due to its dark color and warming effect, dilution is recommended for use on light-colored fabrics or sensitive skin. If the oil is thick, warm it briefly in a double boiler or under warm water to improve fluidity.

Massage — Dilute 10–20% in a lighter carrier oil (e.g. apricot kernel, sesame, or sweet almond). Apply to joints, muscles, tendons, legs, or the circulatory area with slow, firm strokes. Particularly effective for rheumatic pain, heavy legs, varicose veins, and muscle or tendon discomfort. Pairs well with arnica macerate or St. John's wort oil for enhanced analgesic and anti-inflammatory action.

Bath — Disperse 5–10 mL in a bath dispersant (e.g. full-fat milk, neutral shower gel, or a dedicated bath base) before adding to warm water. Do not add undiluted directly to bath water. Promotes relaxation and supports skin regeneration.

Cosmetic ingredient — Incorporate at 5–20% into creams, balms, serums, or ointments. Valued for its regenerating, anti-inflammatory, cicatrizant, and antifungal properties. Ideal in formulations targeting eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, stretch marks, scars, and mature or damaged skin.

Capillary — Apply to the scalp and along hair lengths. Leave on for 20–30 minutes (or overnight under a warm towel) before shampooing.
