• Castor oil is unique due to its ricinoleic acid content, which is known to help prevent microbial growth. 💡 Usage Recommendations

Skin application — Apply a few drops of castor oil directly to the skin. Warm between the palms first to improve spreadability. Massage gently in circular motions until absorbed. Can be used pure or blended with other vegetable oils or essential oils.

Massage — Use as a massage base oil, alone or blended with other carrier oils. Its thick texture makes it particularly effective for targeted massage on joints, muscles, and the scalp. Dilute with a lighter oil (e.g. sweet almond or jojoba) for full-body massage.

Capillary — Apply to the scalp and hair lengths as a pre-shampoo treatment or leave-in mask. Massage into the scalp to stimulate circulation and nourish the roots. Leave on for at least 30 minutes (or overnight) before washing out. Particularly effective for dry, brittle, frizzy, or damaged hair.

Nail Application — Massage a small amount into the nails and cuticles daily to strengthen brittle nails, soften cuticles, and protect against fungal conditions. Best applied at night and left to absorb overnight.

Cosmetic ingredient — Incorporate into homemade cosmetic formulations (creams, balms, serums, lip products, hair masks) as an emollient and thickening agent. Typical usage rate: 5–30% depending on the formulation type.

💪 Strengthening oil for nails and cuticles: In a dropper bottle, mix

• 5 ml of castor oil,
• 5 ml of evening primrose oil,
• 5 drops of lemon essential oil,
• 2 drops of vitamin E.

Apply a few drops to your fingertips, then gently massage to help the blend absorb. Remove any excess with a damp wipe if necessary.

💪 Strengthening oil for eyelashes and eyebrows: In a small jar, mix

• 5 ml of castor oil,
• 3 ml of plant-based squalane.

To apply, dip a clean mascara brush into this blend. Apply, preferably in the evening, to your eyelashes and eyebrows just like mascara.

Wash the brush after use. You can also use a dropper to transfer this blend into our empty mascara tube for eyelashes and eyebrows.

• 25 ml of castor oil,
• 25 ml of macadamia oil,
• 10 drops of lemon essential oil,
• 10 drops of carrot essential oil,

Apply 1 to 2 drops in the evening to a clean, dry face, avoiding the eye area.

• 70 ml of olive oil, 30 ml of castor oil,
• 10 drops of lemon essential oil,
• 10 drops of ylang-ylang essential oil,

Apply to the entire length of the hair, avoiding the scalp. Leave on for at least 30 minutes, ideally under a warm towel. Then wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
